Tour de USA | Stage 34 Crawfordsville, IN 82 miles

Another great day on the bike, and today we woke up to mild temperatures and low humidity.  What a difference low humidity makes.  We cranked out 80 miles like it was nothing, and we had a slight headwind the whole day.

We crossed into our 9th state, Indiana and we were looking for Jack and Diane, and Little Pink Houses, unfortunately we saw neither.  But guess what we did see?  Yup, more corn, soybean, and wind turbines.

We are now in the eastern time zone as well, so you know we are getting closer, no more time zones to cross. And I had no flats today, yeah!!  I hope we have solved those issues, because it sux to stop on the side of the road to change so many flats.

Today is flag day, and there were a lot of flags flying today.  It is hard to tell in this picture but they had them on every pole on both sides of the street.

Thought this sign welcoming me to Hillsboro was funny.  I didn’t see any sore heads, but I am sure they are there.

This mural, if you will, or artwork on the side of a building was interesting, so we stopped and took a picture.  Below L-R: me, Pete from Scotland, and Mark from Wales

A little helmet head.

Downtown Crawfordsville.

Here is the map from today. We crossed into Indiana, and just south of Chicago, and not far from Indianapolis, which is the destination tomorrow, and it is a short day, around 60 miles. Here is the video  https://www.relive.cc/view/1638765300
